Respite care

We cater for as long as you need...

Our short-term care solutions cater to different requirements, whether that’s for a few days or a few weeks. Many elderly or disabled persons in need of social assistance are cared for at home by spouses, wives, sons, daughters, or other close relatives who willingly give up their time and frequently their careers to care for their loved ones. Caring for a loved one in this way takes a full-time commitment, and we can only admire those who dedicate their life to doing so. All caretakers, however, require a break in order to re-charge and restore their ability to continue caring.

We cater for a few days...

This might be due to a need to travel, a need to see a family overseas, or the caregiver’s health or condition limiting or altering their availability. Perhaps the person being looked after has become too difficult to handle, and a space in a care facility is not yet available, or care coverage is required,
Short-term care may also be necessary when the caregiver is unable to provide care for a limited time due to illness or other obligations, such as employment or jury duty. When this happens, a live-in caregiver can provide short-term care to give them the break they need before returning to their caring position.
A short-term care package for carers providing short-term care for a person with high dependence care requirements must be suitable and professional, allowing them to relax in the knowing that everything will be taken care of correctly while they are away or unable to offer the service.
