Home from hospital care

Alida’s provides the transitional help you need

Returning home is one of the most stressful aspects of a hospital stay for the elderly and fragile. It might be tough to get back into a routine, especially if you live alone.
A trained caregiver is on hand to help you avoid falls and other mishaps while also helping you regain your confidence. We will carefully draw together a home-from-hospital care plan to assist you in regaining your freedom and confidence, ensuring that you receive just the correct degree of support.
Our caregivers’ primary goal is to assist you in regaining your independence as fast and as safely as feasible.

We provide emotional support

For our elderly clients it’s normal to lose confidence following an injury or a fall. The home-from-hospital carer will put in every effort to ensure your home environment is safe, secure, and clear of obstacles, so you move freely and with confidence. To get you moving in your home again, our carer will assist with specialised equipment, such as a walking frame, elevated toilet seat, or adjustable bed. The carer will keep track of your recovery plan, making sure you take your medicine and do your physiotherapy exercises.
Other duties the carer will assist with include  vacuuming, dusting, and washing clothing, meal  preparation, eating, bathing, getting into or out of bed, and  dressing. Whatever help you need to readjust to your home, our carers will provide.
